Mollie - A Life in Kodachrome is a three part project. Comprised of Kodachrome slides, they are presented here as Photos, Postcards and Projections. The series aims to explore the relationship between found imagery and personal memory.
This project was created by Ellen Beskow as part of her final year BA Hons Photography degree. "Mollie lives on through these Kodachrome slides, photographed by her husband 'Harry'. Together they travelled and documented their holidays and daily life, giving us a brief glimpse into who they were. Creating Mollie has allowed me to connect with her in a way, imagining what kind of person she was and how she saw the world. To me, she now seems like a distant relative that I almost remember."
